Bacon Receives Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award

WASHINGTON, DC / AGILITYPR.NEWS / June 18, 2021 / Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02) was today recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with the Abraham Lincoln Leadership Award for 2021, for demonstrating leadership critical to advancing policies supportive of America’s free enterprise system. The award is presented to the top 20 members of Congress who have demonstrated through their actions, the leadership critical to advancing policies that support America’s free enterprise system. Rep. Bacon was the highest-ranked Republican in the House with a score of 100 percent.

 

“During my time in Congress, I’ve made it a priority of mine to work across party lines and find bipartisan, common-sense solutions to our country’s biggest issues,” said Rep. Bacon. “We need to continue introducing and passing legislation that strengthens our economy, supports small businesses and American innovation, and puts hard-earned money back into the hands of American workers. Thank you to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for recognizing my efforts to help advance the spirit of enterprise and our free-market system.”
