London, UK - 5th September 2025 Tell Someone provides a portal for the anonymous submission of reports and testimonies of individuals suffering from grooming gang exploitation.
Changing the conversation around grooming gangs
Until now, discussions on the grooming gangs crisis in Britain has focussed on the perpetrators. While this crime should not be forgotten, Tell Someone empowers survivors and allows them to tell their story with care and in confidence.
Tell Someone's innovative triage system incorporates cutting-edge AI technology to review submissions, classify severity, and progress cases rapidly. Protecting human reviewers from the trauma of reviewing complex cases by reviewing and filtering graphic content from submissions, the AI programme ensures nothing is missed, providing detailed reports to legal experts to help escalate to emergency services.
Mission and Impact
Tell Someone is an independent, non-partisan service aimed at raising awareness of the scale of grooming gangs in the United Kingdom by extensively charting the history of the issue and its development.
Tell Someone also signposts users to additional services, including charities active in supporting survivors, how to complete Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and education material to ensure the public are fully informed.
Michael Reiners, legal oversight for Tell Someone, says
"This issue cannot be ignored any longer by those in power. Seventy years of documented cases. Decades of institutional failure. Thousands of destroyed lives. The time for more reports and recommendations is over - this portal allows survivors to take direct control of their stories."
