‘Spooky Halloween Musical’ at Groombridge Place 19 October to 3 November 2019
Famous spooky characters will be taking to the stage in the outdoor forest theatre at Groombridge Place for family friendly fun in October half term between 19 October and 3 November 2019 and at weekends visitors can walk through our interactive ‘Tarantula Display’ where you will see over 30 arachnids if your dare!
West End actors will transform into scary well-known characters to perform a fabulous ‘Spooky Halloween Musical’ in the Enchanted Forest. They will be performing a musical with songs from well-known films including the Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors, Nightmare before Christmas, Hocus Pocus and many more.
Everyone is encouraged to sing along and don’t forget to come dressed in your best Halloween outfit for a chance to win a daily prize at the end of the Halloween disco after the last performance of the day.
All the family friendly fun begins at 10am each day when characters from the musical will meet visitors before they disappear into the Enchanted Forest for the first of two daily spooky Halloween shows.
Meet the Tarantulas
Scared of spiders? Don’t be! Arachnids are incredible animals so join us to get a closer insight into these fluffy creatures. This is a chance to meet them up close during the tarantula talk or just enjoy the interactive displays which house 30 tarantulas. An expert will be on hand to answer all your question throughout the day. The event will take place every weekend during the Halloween event.
Admission includes the musicals, in addition to the daily birds of prey displays, entrance into the walled gardens and all the attractions in the forest including Crusoe’s World with its pirate ship and rope bridges, the board walk with its zip wire and rope swings and the giant tree and nest swings deep in the forest.
The ghostly canal boat will be running each day. There is a small charge for the canal boat (adults £1.50 and children £1).
There is also a burger grill to fill hungry tummies at Crusoe’s World.

Car Parking Free. There is also a café selling hot and cold food and drinks. During October half term there will be a Halloween menu including Pumpkin soup!

Directions to Groombridge Place:
Groombridge Place is located in the village of Groombridge, 4 miles south west of Tunbridge Wells on the B2110, which is just off the A264 Tunbridge Wells/ East Grinstead road - on the Kent and East Sussex county border.
By Road: From the M25: Exit at Junction 5 and head south on the A21. After 10 miles, exit at A26 signed Tunbridge Wells: then take A264 to East Grinstead and follow the signs to Groombridge village and Groombridge Place.
By Rail: London Charing Cross to Tunbridge Wells, then bus or taxi to Groombridge. Or take the Spa Valley Railway steam train from Tunbridge Wells West Station with a 10-minute walk the other end.
