A Realtor for Your Golden Years Oklahoma City Startup Aims to Bring Humanity Back to Senior Care Decision Making Process

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK / AGILITYPR.NEWS / July 07, 2025 / Oklahoma City, OK – In an age of algorithms and impersonal placement tools, one company is betting big on humanity. Next Level Senior Advisors, based in Oklahoma City, is a startup with a plan to completely reimagine the way senior citizens get help navigating the senior care maze. In fact, Next Level’s founder and CEO, Matt Wilson, has written an Amazon bestseller on the subject. But just in case mom, dad, grandma or grandpa hasn’t gotten around the reading the book, a local advisor can fill them in on the details. “The entire senior living placement sector is impersonal and frankly, not very helpful,” said Wilson, a veteran of the senior care industry. “Everyone is obsessed with the bells and whistles of technology and we kind of forgot about the most important thing – our shared humanity.” Wilson’s group, with offices springing up nationwide, doesn’t operate like most placement companies, who typically take down some information and provide some suggestions and maybe a little guidance, if you’re lucky. “Our business model is based on walking with seniors every step of the way, from step one all the way to the day they move in,” Wilson explained. “We act more like a realtor and less like a traditional placement company.” In fact, Next Level’s local advisors accompany seniors when they tour a community. “Even the simple act of touring can be daunting for a lot of older adults and their loved ones,” Wilson explained. “Our advisors know this industry, they know their local markets and they know what questions to ask and what types of communities to avoid.” To top off the alure of personal, local help finding a community, Next Level sweetens the pot by offering their services free of charge. “We don’t get paid unless we place you or your loved one in a community that’s the right fit,” Wilson said. The young company is already building a sterling reputation, Wilson said. But don’t take his word for it. “We needed to find care for both parents,” said Marilyn in Tulsa. “Our support and guidance from (our Next Level advisor) took the guesswork out of the decision. We received much needed and excellent guidance in making choices we could never have achieved on our own. We are thankful for his patience, kindness and expertise.” The startup is hearing similar feedback across the country as they continue to add locations from Charlotte to Pittsburgh.

“We’re working on growing and spreading the word that we’re in the neighborhood,” said Wilson. “We know how tough these decisions can be, and we want people to know we’re around and we’re different.” In an age where A.I. and new digital advances seem to govern everything we do, at least one sector still benefits from a personal, human touch.
