AMA International Collegiate Conference Returns to New Orleans for 2025
An opportunity for collegiate marketers to learn, grow, and compete kicks off in April
Chicago, IL— The American Marketing Association (AMA) will host the 2025 AMA International Collegiate Conference (ICC) in New Orleans, LA, April 3-5, 2025. Starting with the opening parade of AMA chapters—the largest pep rally for marketing in the world—this conference is filled with opportunities for students to develop professional skills and build a network. Additionally, hundreds of students will have the opportunity to compete in several competitive events including AMA Sales, Perfect Pitch, Marketing Strategy, Marketplace Simulation, and the Chapter T-Shirt competition.
The 2025 Collegiate Case Competition will also take place during the conference. This year-long academic competition brings together marketing students to tackle a real-world business challenge provided by this year’s co-sponsoring partners—Adobe and Deloitte Digital.
The competition provides AMA collegiate members the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and marketing expertise while connecting with academics and professionals in the industry. This event challenges nearly 100 collegiate teams to develop and propose strategic marketing plans in response to a detailed case challenge presented by the co-sponsors.
“At AMA’s International Collegiate Conference, marketing students will immerse themselves in three days of transformative experiences designed to empower and equip them with the skills and insights necessary to navigate and excel in the evolving world of marketing. Our 2025 conference is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to nurture growth and evolve together. The event represents the spirit of innovation and leadership that defines the next generation of marketers. We’re excited to see the incredible ideas these teams will bring to life,” said Bennie F. Johnson, CEO of the AMA. “I'm also glad to recognize Adobe and Deloitte Digital, and all our sponsors, who are helping to support the creativity of students who are innovating solutions for the next generation.”
Our thanks and appreciation to the co-chairs of the event, Dr. Delonia Minor-Cooley (Texas Southern University) and Dr. Konya Weber (Northwest Nazarene University) for supporting students and faculty in this amazing opportunity.
