Accountancy team moves into historic dockyard at Chatham

The accountancy practice, Perrys Chartered Accountants, has moved its Medway team to Grade II listed offices at the historic dockyard in Chatham.

The branch, which is one of seven offices operated by the Kent and London based business, will operate from The Fitted Rigging House – a building which dates back to 1793 and was originally where dockyard workers manufactured standing rigging for warships.

Along with the office move, Perrys partner Steve Hale, who heads up the Orpington office, will relocate to Chatham to manage business development in the area.

The team will be led by the practice’s Construction Industry Scheme expert, Dave Horn. He said:

“We are delighted with our office and look forward to welcoming all our clients – old and new – to our beautiful premises and continuing to provide high quality accountancy expertise.”
