READING, PA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / June 29, 2026 / Albright College announces the launch of a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management through its School of Professional Studies (SPS), offering working adults a career-focused pathway into one of the fastest-growing fields in business.
Organizations across every sector are navigating an increasingly complex talent landscape shaped by workforce shortages, shifting employee expectations, and the growing importance of culture, equity, and retention. Human resource professionals are at the center of it all, and the demand for skilled HR practitioners who can think strategically and act with purpose has never been higher.
The B.S. in Human Resource Management is designed to help students develop those capabilities. The program combines business knowledge with human resource strategy to prepare graduates for careers in talent management, employee relations, training and development, workforce planning, and organizational leadership. Students develop skills in ethical decision-making, workplace effectiveness, and people-centered practices that support both individual employees and organizational success.
The program is delivered fully online through Albright’s School of Professional Studies, designed for working adults seeking flexible, accelerated pathways to a degree. At $300 per credit, tuition is designed to be affordable and transparent. Students may also apply for prior learning credit, which enables them to earn academic credit for professional experience, industry certifications, and workplace training they have already completed. For HR professionals with years of hands-on experience, this option can significantly reduce the time and cost required to finish a degree. Advisors work with each student to identify eligible experience and chart the most direct path to completion.
Graduates will be positioned for roles in HR departments, consulting, workforce development, and people operations across industries.
“People are the engine of every great organization, and the professionals who support them deserve an education that takes that seriously. Our Human Resource Management program prepares students to think strategically about talent, act with integrity, and lead organizations toward cultures where people can thrive.” President Debra M. Townsley, Ph.D., said.
