Chicago, IL—This March, the American Marketing Association (AMA) will host a new program, Executive in Residence. This new virtual program is designed to create meaningful dialogue between industry innovators and leading academics. These conversations will explore emerging trends, the evolving skills today’s marketing students need to succeed, and the forces shaping the future of the marketing profession. The first guest in the new Executive in Residence Program is Marc Pritchard, the Chief Brand Officer of Procter & Gamble (P&G).  

 

Pritchard is responsible for P&G’s brand-building disciplines worldwide. He sets the Company’s multi-billion-dollar media, marketing, and advertising strategies, and leads marketing innovations that guide communication and brand building for P&G’s portfolio of trusted, quality brands. Pritchard joined the company in 1982 as a cost analyst in the Paper Division and has 20+ years of progressive experience in the Beauty and Personal Care categories which earned his appointment to president of Global Cosmetics and Personal Care in 2003. Known for his pioneering approach to product, commercial, and operational innovation, he served as president of Global Strategy for two years, driving strategies for expanded productivity and growth for P&G. He was appointed P&G’s chief marketing officer in 2008. Pritchard believes in the power of brands to improve the lives of consumers everyday through products that deliver superior performance and value.  He continually leads P&G’s brand-building reinvention and is a leading voice in the media, marketing, and creative industry.
