American Marketing Association Foundation Announces New Board of Advisors Members

Hami Vo Arrington, Founder at One Foot Over, is AMA Foundation Chair 


Chicago, IL—The American Marketing Association (AMA) Foundation is pleased to announce new members of the Board of Advisors. The AMA Foundation Board of Directors is made up of volunteer leaders and impactful marketing visionaries who are providing insight and guidance to create the essential community for marketers. 


Through its work, the AMA Foundation seeks to elevate marketing visionaries, empower future generations, and inspire a more diverse industry and ensure marketing research impacts public good. Learn more about the AMA Foundation.

Johnson, AMA’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our Foundation Board members are extraordinary leaders in the community and we are thankful for their service and the impact they are creating in the marketing world. I also want to thank the outgoing member of the Board for their service and dedication to our Foundation.”

One Foot Over is a B2B strategy and marketing agency and consultancy that works alongside CMOs and marketing executives to create strategies that bring results and solutions to their marketing problems.

  • Michael Ahearne is a Professor of Marketing and C.T. Bauer Chair in Marketing at the University of Houston, where he also serves as the Research Director of the Stagner Sales Excellence Institute
  • Shanita Baraka Akintonde, Founder of ShanitaSpeaks LLC 
  • Tim Bohling, Founder and President of Bohling Consulting, and a Marketing Professor at Cornell University
  • William Cron, Visiting Professor at the University of California-Davis; Guest Professor at Ruhr University - Bochum, Germany, and Professor Emeritus at the M. J. Neeley School of Business
  • Lisa Gudding, leads the Strategic Growth team at global Public Opinion and Insights firm Ipsos.
  • Jim Lecinski, Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management
  • Bill Pearce, Continuing Professional Faculty member in the Marketing Group and the Institute for Business Innovation at University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business
  • Dr. Rebeca Perren, Associate Professor of Marketing at California State University San Marcos
  • Linda L. Price, Professor of Marketing and Dick and Maggie Scarlett Chair of Business Administration at University of Wyoming
