Global engineering, advisory and design company Aurecon has announced the appointment of Andre Fourie, Country Manager – Qatar, to its new leadership team in the Middle East region.

Dedicated to creating value through innovative thought and technical excellence, these latest leadership appointments from Aurecon come as the company continues to strengthen its business around digital transformation and infrastructure in the Middle East.
Aurecon’s Regional Director – Middle East, Ermis Marques, says that he is delighted to have Andre on board.

Our vision is to now bring advisory, asset optimisation and digital skills to our key clients so that we can provide more value across the full continuum of the asset life cycle. Andre’s appointment is integral in helping Aurecon make this happen in Qatar.”
Aurecon has delivered some of the Middle East’s most landmark projects in recent years that include the Doha Expressway Programme, Doha Oasis and the Signature Stadium for FIFA’s 2022 World Cup.
Having held various roles on major projects in both Infrastructure and the Built Environment with Aurecon, Andre has lived in Doha on and off since 2010.
“It is truly amazing how much work has been undertaken and how many incredibly large and complex engineered projects have been completed in Qatar. It is such an exciting place to operate with the build up to the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and the National Vision taking us through to 2030 and we are proud to be part of this journey” says Andre.
