Benefit for Australian Firefighters

HUNTINGTON, NY / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 23, 2020 / Fitfighter, a Port Washington company, is hosting a fundraiser at Island Athletics to benefit the New South Wales Fire service and the Los Angeles firefighters who are providing mutual aid to the devastated areas of Australia. The event will be held on Sunday, January 26th at 9:30 A.M.

Sarah Apgar, Fitfighter founder and CEO, will conduct the strength and conditioning class using her own invention- the Steehose, made from recycled fire hose. It’s fun and easy, so everyone is welcome.

Contact Island Athletics, 90 Sintsink Dr., Port Washington (516-472-7274) to sign up or just drop by on Sunday morning. Donations of $30 will go directly to support the men and women firefighters in Australia.
