Big O Tires Takes Strict COVID-19 Measures for Healthy Stores

DENVER / AGILITYPR.NEWS / March 17, 2020 / Provides Safe Environment for Reliable Transportation Service.

To combat COVID-19 concerns at Big O Tires in Colorado, Big O Tires’ owners have taken strict measures to implement all directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to keep a clean, safe and healthy environment for customers and employees.

Locally owned and operated Big O Tires stores throughout the Colorado metro area are working to continually provide services for reliable transportation during the pandemic.

“Because health and safety for customers and employees are our number one priority, we immediately implemented procedures outlined by the CDC and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment,” said Matt Story, Big O Tires owner and Colorado ad committee chairman. “We have initiated a rigorous process to deep clean and sanitize our stores so employees and customers can keep America moving.”

Big O Tires has implemented a 4-step process to maintain a healthy environment.

“From before we open until after we close each day, we sanitize our working environment,” said Story. “We validate that each employee is healthy. Any employee showing signs of illness is sent home until they have 24 hours without signs of fever or other symptoms. To date, everyone has been healthy.

“While working with customers, we practice social distancing and stay six feet from each other for everyone’s protection. If we confirm a customer is ill, we invite them to return when they have recovered.

“Customers have told us how grateful they are for all these steps, but it just makes sense.”

Additionally, Big O Tires requires each employee to observe good public health practices.

“We are vigilant about making sure every employee follows 5 basic steps: 1. Wash hands frequently; 2. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth until your hands have been washed; 3. Stay away from anyone who is ill; 4. Refrain from shaking hands and instead use fist bumps or elbow/foot taps; and 5. Disinfect surface areas,” he said. “With those steps in place, we have maintained a safe, clean and healthy environment for employees and customers, which is important because vehicles need regular maintenance to run effectively and we all need to do what we should to stay healthy.”

Throughout Colorado, Big O Tires is providing more economical ways for customers to keep their vehicles operating, even if they’ve are suffering financially from a personal economic downturn.

“We have a No Credit Needed financing plan available that has a six-month, zero-interest provision,” said Story. “We are also providing a Healthy Car Special for $29.95, down from $49.95, which will greatly help drivers get their vehicles checked with several services, including an oil change, brake inspection and tire rotation.

“We are doing this because as local owners who love our community, we are mindful of those who have vehicle needs but may be in a tight financial situation. It is another way we can help our neighbors throughout Colorado.”

Additionally, Big O Tires is providing free flat repairs and free auto inspections. Many stores also offer free shuttle service. Visit bigotires.com for the service team nearest to you.
