Breast Cancer Haven Appoints New CEO

Breast Cancer Haven, the national charity that supports people through breast cancer, has appointed Sally Hall as its new Chief Executive.

Hall’s appointment comes at an exciting time of change for the charity with a planned move to a new central London location in the autumn. The move will lead to an expansion in service provision supporting more people affected by breast cancer in the capital than ever before.

Before pursuing a career as a freelance charity consultant, most recently for the The Priory of England and its charitable arm, St John Ambulance, Hall was the Chief Executive of Wessex Cancer Trust for eight years.

Sally Hall, said: “I am extremely excited to be taking on the role of CEO for this wonderful charity which has for the past 20 years delivered such vital services to people affected by breast cancer. I want to be part of taking the charity to another level where our services will be available to many more people around the country who desperately need our help.”

Professor Dudley Sinnett , Chair of Trustees at Breast Cancer Haven, added: “We are delighted that Sally is joining us as our new CEO. She will bring with her much valued experience and skills to the charity and I have no doubt that she will be totally committed to leading Breast Cancer Haven through the challenging, but exciting, times ahead.”

Hall will take up her new role in April, replacing the outgoing CEO, Pamela Healy OBE, who is stepping down after nine years with the charity.
