UK / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 18, 2021 / RGB Building Supplies’ campaign to support businesses in the local area is continuing to give the community a chance to receive vouchers to spend at independent shops and venues.

The builders merchant has so far given away vouchers totalling £1,390 with a number of businesses in the region having been supported. These include Dales Family Butchers in Helston, Banbury’s Beauty Spa in Launceston, Seasalt Clothing in Penzance and The Farmshop Leedstown. It is still doing weekly giveaways, which include 10 £50 garden centre vouchers, five £100 holiday cottage vouchers and five £100 spa/hotel vouchers. Any RGB customer who spends £25 (plus VAT) at a RGB branch will be in with a chance of winning.

Kevin Fenlon, CEO of RGB, commented:

“Once again, independent businesses in our local area are being affected by lockdown. Our Support Local campaign aims to help those businesses by encouraging people in our community to spend with them. By the end of the initiative, we will have purchased vouchers totalling £6,500 from independent shops, venues and attractions to give away to people in the region.”

RGB understands that due to current lockdown restrictions certain venues are not currently open, so is assuring all winners that a voucher will still be valid if they are unable to use it straightaway.
