UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 09, 2020 / Classic Motor Cars in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, the world renowned restorer of classic cars is gearing up for its valuation day on February 29th and is sending an open invitation to anyone with classic cars, classic motorcycles or automobilia to come along and have their items valued.
The valuation day is a precursor to CMC’s annual open day which annually attracts more than 5,000 people and will for the first time include an auction of cars, bikes and automobilia which will be run by Loveridge, Agents and Auctioneers.
This years open day will take the theme of ‘Retro and Classic’ cars with the intention of attracting younger people to bring the cars that they are interested in as well as those who own cars that are becoming classics of the future.

Nigel Woodward, Managing Director of CMC said: “ The valuation day is a great opportunity for anyone with a classic car, bike or piece of automobilia to bring it along and get it valued. It will also give people the opportunity entering their items in the auction, which will take place during the open day on May 30th
He added: “As well as classic cars and motorcycles we are also looking anything that is related to the classic market from parts, manuals and tools to automobilia and memorabilia, which includes posters, prints, paintings, trophies, and motoring toys and high quality models. There is no seller’s commission for any of the items.
Nigel said: “ For the first time at a British classic car auction we will MOT every car and bike entry if appropriate and provide that entry with a CMC Great Garage Sale Certificate of Quality which will confirm that it has received a detailed CMC inspection as well as a basic information like engine and chassis numbers, and confirm that the vehicle has had an HPI check.
He added: “CMC is noted for the quality of its restorations it now wishes to give those who enter and buy vehicles from its auctions that extra peace of mind. The certificate will become an important part of that vehicles provenance.”
CMC is privileged to be selling some of the late Norman Dewis’s items including his desk and briefcase, books and other memorabilia and these will also be on show at the valuation day along with a motoring book fair.
