GENEVA, SWITZERLAND / AGILITYPR.NEWS / December 20, 2024 / SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has published SafeGuardS 171.24, highlighting consultation on Indonesia's draft food packaging law.
The proposed law was announced by the World Trade Organization (WTO) in November 2024 and has been drafted by Indonesia’s Food and Drug Authority ((Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM)).
The proposals are intended to ensure a high level of food safety and are open for comments until January 27, 2025.
