UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 15, 2021 / The Portsmouth branch of Covers Timber & Builders Merchants will be sponsoring Horndean FC for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons.

The builders’ merchant, which has supported the club for many years, has now confirmed an official sponsorship agreement. This will include the company’s logo on perimeter boards around the pitch and advertising within the club’s grounds.

Michael Birmingham, Manager of Horndean FC, said:

“We value all our sponsors at Horndean Football Club and it is fantastic to have Covers on board with us for the next two seasons. This year has been difficult for everyone, including grass roots football, so to have Covers’ continued commitment and sponsorship, along with all our other great sponsors, allows us to progress and reinvest both on and off the pitch."

Dale Lambourne, Manager of Covers Portsmouth, added:

“The pandemic has hit communities hard, so we felt it was important to continue to make a difference to those affected, including our local sports teams. We are delighted to be making this commitment to Horndean FC as official sponsors and wish them the very best for the season.”
