UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 28, 2020 / Devon Air Ambulance have launched a brand-new online shop designed to cater for customers that like to browse at any time of the day and from anywhere in the world.
The charity’s new venture is perfect for those who are keen to play their part in sustainable living, whilst also creating their own identity by purchasing one off, pre-loved items to shape their own style.
With its soft colours and casual, photographic, lifestyle images to help shoppers the different departments easily, the online shop looks and feels quite different to what one might expect from an online charity shop.
Initially launching with hundreds of items of Women’s clothing and accessories, DAA has plans to add much more, including Menswear, Children’s wear and items for home as well as niche departments such as vintage clothing and homewares.
The new online shop will also benefit from its own social media channels where younger shoppers in particular will be able to keep up-to-date with new additions as well as promotional offers and messages.
Income Generation Director, Caroline Creer commented:
“We are very excited to launch our new online shop; it’s stylish and sophisticated and we hope it will appeal to our existing shoppers and attract new audiences who will have a lot of fun finding some really great pieces that will be unique to them, we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of customers”.
She added,
“We have 18 charity shops throughout Devon and we are committed to promoting the benefits of sustainable charity shopping. To prevent additional textile waste, we actively encourage our kind supporters to donate their unwanted goods to us, so that they can be refreshed and sold to a new owner whilst raising vital funds for the service we provide.”
This is not the first time Devon Air Ambulance will be entering into the online world of selling as they have already tried and tested their own eBay shop where a full range of products can be found much like you would find in your regular Devon Air Ambulance charity shop.
The ease and simplicity of online shopping has encouraged shoppers to contribute to maintaining vital income for Devon Air Ambulance throughout the pandemic.
The new online shop offers free shipping for most items and a simple purchasing and returns process. Visit their new online shop here: www.shopdaat.org
