MANCHESTER, NH / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 16, 2020 / After more than 12 years of delivering Oral Health Services in Manchester, Easterseals NH has made the difficult decision to close of our dental practice, effective December 18, 2020. Effective October 30, 2020, we will transition to only serving current patients with emergency needs, during limited service hours. Senior leadership and the Easterseals Board of Directors has made the decision in light of increasing financial challenges, in part due to the effect of COVID-19.

Since 2008, the Easterseals Oral Health Center has made a significant impact through its focus to serve individuals who need dental care but do not always have the resources to obtain these services. We have been honored to offer a dental home for low-income families, individuals with disabilities or special needs, and people of all ages and have worked tirelessly over the last several years to secure funding to sustain our clinic. While we have had philanthropic partners, including tremendous support from Northeast Delta Dental, who has made a critical difference to provide free and reduced-price services to those in need, unfortunately, due in part to the impact of COVID-19, and the significant expenses required to run the dental center, we are at a point where the only option is to close.

As a leader in social services for individuals with disabilities and special needs, Easterseals NH is proud to work on the front lines and continue to serve nearly 26,000 individuals annually throughout the State of New Hampshire. We look forward to continuing our services through our core programs including: Child Development Centers and Family Resource Center, Early Supports & Services, Autism Services, Residential & Educational Services, Transportation, Camping and Recreation, Community Based Services, Workforce Development, Military & Veterans Services, Senior Services, and Substance Use Treatment Services.
