First Nebraska Bank Reschedules Groundbreaking Ceremony Elkhorn location to be the bank’s 11th Nebraska branch
ELKHORN, Neb., July 11, 2019 – First Nebraska Bank had to reschedule the June 26 groundbreaking ceremony due to rain. The bank will now break ground for the bank’s 11th location on Wednesday, July 17 at 9:00 a.m. The new branch will be located at 20421 George B. Lake Parkway. The public is invited to attend to learn about the plans and enjoy refreshments. Please enter on the south side through the Coventry subdivision.
“All of our bank locations are special, but this one is particularly meaningful to us because it will be our first location in Elkhorn,” said Lydell L. Woodbury, president of First Nebraska Bank. The new location will be the first of its kind in the Omaha area with two walkup Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) inside the bank and additional assistance offered by universal bankers, as well as the commercial and mortgage lenders. There will be three ITMs in the drive-through facility. All of the ITMs will be offering live teller services from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and most federal holidays, and 8-11 a.m. on Saturdays. The new drive-through facility is scheduled to be available in October 2019 and the main facility scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2020.
The architect is Don Peters and Associates and Fauss Construction is the general contractor.
The new branch joins 10 other Nebraska locations in Arcadia, Bennet, Brainard, Columbus, Decatur, Emerson, Nebraska City, Stanton, Valley and Weeping Water.
