Former NBA Star Dennis Rodman Was Recently Interviewed LIVE For Celebrity Trainer and Entrepreneur Jennifer Cohen’s Podcast, Habits & Hustle

This past Sunday, March 10, 2019, former NBA star Dennis Rodman sat down with Habits & Hustle Podcast host, Jennifer Cohen. The interview took place at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, CA and was a part of the mall’s Beauty & Balance series.

Cohen, known for being a spokesperson for iconic brands including Nike, KIND Bars, Weight Watchers and more, didn’t hold back when it came to the questions. She covered all of the hard-hitting topics that the audience was dying to know!  The duo began by discussing Rodman’s childhood, his dating life (yes, including his marriage to Carmen Electra), his relationship with Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump, and of course the “habits and hustle” that made him a success.

Rodman dished on his early life and how he was actually discovered in a rec center playing basketball.  He shared that like many young men in America and many members of his own family, he could have easily chosen the wrong path in life-  selling drugs or getting caught up in the streets- but he knew that wasn’t the life he wanted. He had a skill and he wasn’t going to take that for granted. He would go to his local recreational center after school and shoot hoops in order to keep himself out of trouble. Eventually he would be discovered and go on to play at Southeastern Oklahoma State University where after only two years, he would be recruited as an All-American player. The rest is basketball history!

On another note, if you were curious about Rodman’s friendship with the N. Korean Dictator, the two actually met while he was north of the DMZ and the two played a game of H.O.R.S.E. together. We don’t know much about Un’s personal life, but one thing we do know is that he’s a huge NBA/basketball fan! Following the infamous game, Rodman became the US’ Ambassador of Goodwill to North Korea, because why not? Rodman even told the audience he is headed back to North Korea soon to play basketball game with Kim Jong Un in honor of his recent birthday!

Cohen and Rodman actually met years ago through a mutual friend. Following the launch of her podcast she knew she wanted Rodman as a guest for numerous reasons. He’s an NBA legend, he’s very successful, and he’s quite the character! So naturally when Cohen had to opportunity to do a live interview she wanted him and no one else.

If you didn’t have the chance to attend the live interview, we strongly recommend you check out the interview which is live now on Habits & Hustle.  Cohen, a natural interviewer, kept the conversation flowing and the audience engaged. Rodman was very informative, insightful, and inspirational! Sure, we may know Rodman as wearing a wedding dress and being the “crazy green haired” guy from the NBA, but we also shouldn’t forget this man started from nothing and worked his butt off to become one of the most recognized names in NBA history and never strayed from his dreams.

Jennifer’s podcast is all about hearing the untold stories of some of the country’s most successful people, and this interview certainly did not disappoint. All episodes available here: https://habitshustle.com/
