WORCESTER, MA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / June 12, 2024 / Greater Worcester Community Foundation will announce the winner of its 20th Renaissance Award at its annual meeting.

The Renaissance Award was established in 2004 through an endowment created by a founding member of the Foundation, John W. (“Jack”) Lund, who passed away in 2010 at age 90. Jack created the award to outstanding individuals within the Worcester County community who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and innovation in the nonprofit sector. The $5,000 prize is given to the individual to support personal renewal through experiences such as travel or study. New this year, the Foundation will match the prize with a $5,000 grant to the winner’s nonprofit.
Annual Meeting Program:
In addition to the Renaissance Award announcement, the annual meeting will include an update on the Foundation’s 2023 financial reporting, a performance by Hanover Theatre’s Worcester Youth Speak Honestly group, and a speech by Elliot Rivera, Executive Director of Youth in Action in Rhode Island.
