Insight TV UHD Network Now Available to NCTC Member Companies

MTC in New York is First NCTC Member to Launch Insight TV


Amsterdam, Netherlands/Atlanta, GA – Insight TV, the world’s leading 4K UHD HDR broadcaster and producer of native UHD-content, has signed an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) to offer its 4K/UHD network to NCTC’s members nationwide. MTC, which serves the Central Catskill region of New York, is the first to launch Insight TV. The announcement was made today by Mark Romano, VP, Americas, Insight TV.


NCTC represents more than 750 small and mid-sized independent cable and broadband operators across the U.S. Under the terms of the agreement, all NCTC member systems will be able to opt-in to a carriage agreement with Insight TV so they can offer their subscribers the channel’s high-quality, high-energy adventure/lifestyle programming, available in stunning UHD. MTC added Insight TV to its 4K tier of channels.


“Working with NCTC, we are offering member companies some compelling incentives to launch Insight TV and are delighted that to have MTC on board as the first NCTC member to add our channel,” commented Romano. “It’s a great opportunity for systems to get on board with a network that is defining a new standard in quality linear and digital video experiences for consumers.
