UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / November 05, 2020 / Leading tile distributor, Verona, is set to relocate its distribution centre to Doncaster in the coming months, bringing a range of full time jobs to the area.

The company, who specialises in supplying market-leading ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles to national and independent retailers from its head office in Leeds, has signed a new lease deal on a state of the art warehouse facility in Thorne, which will support the business in distributing stock to customers throughout the UK. Plans are also in place for the new distribution centre to hold stock and provide distribution services for national tile retailer, Tile Giant, who has 82 retail stores nationwide. 

A key player within the UK tile industry, Verona has enjoyed a period of rapid growth over the last five years, winning numerous awards and accolades along the way, outgrowing its current warehouse space. At 106,000 square feet, the brand new distribution centre will offer fantastic facilities and working conditions for the team, while providing Verona with a long-term solution with room for further growth.

The business will begin a phased transition to the new site over the coming months, with the distribution centre expected to be fully operational by January 2021.
