Lisa Wood Joins Buckingham Advisors to Serve as Director of Tax

Buckingham Advisors, a comprehensive financial services firm with four locations across Ohio, today announced that Lisa Wood has joined the firm as Tax Director. Wood will be based in the company’s Columbus-area office in Westerville.

Wood graduated from the Ohio University with Bachelor Degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Business Pre-Law, and from the University of Denver with a Master of Taxation. She brings over 27 years of experience in public accounting.

Wood is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as a Board Member for the City of Hilliard, Ohio Board of Tax Appeals and is the President of the Central Ohio United States Air Force Academy Parent Group.

As a previous Tax Partner of Whalen & Company, CPAs and Earman and Wood CPAs, Wood has extensive experience working with individuals and closely held business owners in all phases of small business. As a part of Buckingham’s unique team of financial strategists, Wood will be focused on bringing a variety of tax and consulting services to individuals and closely held businesses in Ohio and surrounding states.
