LINCOLN, NE – The Department of Health and Human Services is holding a media conference with community partners to announce Nebraska implementation plans for the landmark federal legislation, Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA).
FFPSA allows states to access more federal dollars for child abuse prevention programs and services.
Who: Nebraska First Lady Susanne Shore, DHHS Chief Executive Officer Dannette R. Smith, Lutheran Family Services President and CEO Stacy Martin, and others involved in child welfare in Nebraska will provide comments and answer questions from media.
What: Media conference to include comments and a question and answer session for credentialed media.
