Lackawanna College to Celebrate Top Ten National Ranking for Level Up
SCRANTON, Pa. – March 8, 2021 – On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. during a combined in-person and virtual event, Lackawanna College will announce the top ten ranking for their Level Up program on a prestigious national list.
The Level Up program is an innovative and cutting-edge academic program that responds to the national crisis surrounding the increasing cost of higher education by providing the opportunity for students to earn an associate degree while in high school.
This event will take place at the People’s Security Bank Theater, 501 Vine St., Scranton. Lackawanna College officials including Dr. Jill A. Murray, President and Chief Innovation Officer; Erica Barone Pricci, Provost & Chief Academic Officer and Mark Volk, President Emeritus will be in attendance along with Laura Ducceschi, President & CEO of The Scranton Area Foundation; Paige Gebhardt Cognetti, Mayor of the City of Scranton; Bob Durkin, President and CEO of the Scranton Chamber of Commerce and superintendents from local high schools including Paul Brennan, Riverside; Mike Mahon; Abington Heights and Dr. Erin Keating, Old Forge.
