MKM Telford Building Supplies was recently paid a visit by a mystery shopper (or undercover journalist) from KBB Review, the UK's leading business magazine for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry and was awarded with a glowing review.
The ‘Mystery Shopper’ is a regular magazine feature. In every issue the shopper visits a different town and evaluates selected retailers in that area and writes a review based on first impressions.
At MKM Telford, the mystery shopper very much enjoyed their experience and has given the branch a fantastic review for both showroom and service, describing ‘a great one-stop shop for a kitchen and bathroom’ and with a ‘shiny and enthusiastic look about it.’
The KBB Review awarded the branch with a 9/10 rating and described it as “A good example of how to present and staff an aspirational showroom that can cover all budgets and appeal to a wide range of customers.”
The shopper said they were particularly impressed with the knowledgeable and inspirational approach by MKM’s top kitchen designer Matthew Gorton, who offered budget friendly ideas and suggestions designed to meet a specific timeline.
Paul Tarr, Co-Director at MKM Telford commented:
“This is fantastic recognition from a top industry magazine, we are all thrilled with the feedback which is credit to the hard work and dedication of the whole team in Telford. We always strive to deliver customer service that is second to none – an approach which has really paid off as you never know who’s shopping!”
David Kilburn, Executive Chairman commented:
“Congratulations to the team at Telford! This is what MKM Building Supplies is all about - the business was established on the concept that skilled, local people who understand the needs of local customers should serve the local trade.
We believe that it’s our employees who really make a difference, this review is testament to the ongoing efforts of the team who are providing an exceptional retail experience.”
