Despite a rocky start to 2020 brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic the company is now thriving, expanding, and reporting record sales thanks to the vision and strategy of its top team and Modern World Business Solutions is a high performance, disruptive brand making waves in the fiercely competitive fin-tech sector.
Much of this recent success is a result of its unique software platform, which has been developed in-house by Chief Technology Officer Chris Pennington. The unique software integrates directly into the major (and minor) banking systems and provides an invaluable portal for thousands of businesses. Its aggregator service offers a complete commercial solution for clients as the platform is able to raise invoices, provide a CRM service as well as offer e-commerce integrations and solutions.
Warren Whitfield, CEO and founder of Modern World Business Solutions (MWBS) said: “18 months ago the business was in a very different situation. We had just launched the brand and we had started to make positive strides in the fin-tech sector but then Covid hit, and our revenues almost paused overnight. We threw out our 2020 playbook and started with a blank piece of paper to rethink our plan. Myself and my senior team developed a new offer, a new solution and something that could disrupt a stable sector. As a result of this new strategy our new partners range from self-employed sales agents to multinational telecom or utilities companies.”
Operating from state-of-the-art offices, which includes a showroom just outside Huntingdon, MWBS has gone from strength-to-strength gaining an impressive 220 new partners in the past 12 months alone. To manage the demand, the company has recruited 14 new members of staff, a team which is headed up by Charlotte Kappes, as Head of Operations.
Technology has driven much of the success but so too has the way in which the team offers a high level of service to all stakeholders. The team provide a consultative and managed approach to merchants which sees the customer taken through a process which not only gives them the correct solution for the business but it also places rates that they can be safe in the knowledge are the best in the market.
