SINGAPORE / AGILITYPR.NEWS / January 28, 2021 / Study reveals which career paths pave the way to an extramarital affair.
An in-depth study by Gleeden -the first extramarital dating site made by women for women- has revealed the professions most likely to embark on adulterous adventures in Singapore.
An analysis of active profiles on the adulterous site revealed the career choices of men and women most likely to be tempted to stray and play away from home.
Women working in management capacities and as business consultants are powerful, professional – and promiscuous, according to the study. With a higher income level and no boss to report to, these top-tier females may take advantage of the situation and indulge themselves in extramarital activities.
Female accountants and bankers are second most likely to achieve satisfaction at work, and in the bedrooms of lovers other than their significant others. Occupations with an opportunity to work closely with men make up the third group, primarily with teachers and nurses. It’s no mistake that those are the roles that are often assumed to spice things up in the bedroom.
The male occupations with a high rate of affairs include engineers, those in upper management and doctors. The study revealed the higher the income bracket, the more likely the man is to look for a little on the side.
Men working as consultants and those in sports-related professions appear often work closely with women and it seems occasionally allowing the professional barriers to slip.
Communications Director for Gleeden, Solène Paillet, said the study revealed interesting links between career choices and cheating.
“We see strong links with higher incomes and infidelity as well as blue collar workers earning more modest wages, and this includes both men and women. Trends are apparent, however the underlying fact remains: it’s not about the job, it’s about the person” Ms Paillet said.
