NEW STUDY: Lockdown Is Not Preventing Women from Cheating

UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 29, 2020 / With Covid19 measurements in place, 6 out of 10 Israeli women fantasize regularly about making love to someone who's not their husbands. And for the 92% of them that person is someone they know very well!

Is fantasizing about cheating the same as cheating? According to 8 out of 10 Israeli women, the answer is yes. Yet one in two women has already practiced some form of mental infidelity, an activity that has become even more assiduous since the lockdown is in place.

According to the latest survey conducted by Gleeden, the first portal for extramarital encounters made by women with over 7 million active subscribers, in pre-Covid19 times 32% of Israeli married women fantasized regularly to make love to someone other than their husbands. During the lockdown, the percentage has risen to 62%.

1 IN 2 WOMEN THINK ABOUT ANOTHER MAN WHILE MAKING LOVE WITH THEIR PARTNER

The survey, that was conducted on a sample of over 1,000 Israeli female users*, reported 62% women saying that they regularly fantasize about someone other than their husbands. Of these, 12% do it in a "platonic" way, limiting themselves to daydreaming about their ideal lover; 32% think about it while masturbating, while 49% dream about another man right when in bed with their husbands!

Among these mental cheaters, 59% stated that thinking about someone other than their husbands makes the sexual experience more stimulating, and that this isn’t necessarily the symptom of a crisis with their spouses. Only 8%, in fact, confessed that they imagine escaping into the arms of another man because making love with their husbands has become an unbearable routine.

But who is the man of Israeli women’s dreams? For the absolute majority of the interviewees that person is everything but a fantasy! 29%, in fact, fantasize about a work colleague, 24% about a friend / acquaintance, and 23% about their ex. 16% imagine themselves in bed with the new online flirt, while only a small 8% dream of making love to a famous person.

41% OF ISRAELI WOMEN HAVE STARTED AN ONLINE AFFAIR!

If lockdown and social distancing are imposing a state of forced fidelity on everyone, it is also true that online extramarital encounters are experiencing a golden age! Since the beginning of the lockdown, Gleeden has increased its registrations from Israel by 250%. Of these, 41% are female users looking to breaking free from their 24/7 cohabitation with their husbands.

Most of female registrations come from Tel Aviv, Haifa and Ramat Gan.

*Online survey conducted on Gleeden.com from 1st to 15th of October 2020 on a sample of 1,017 Israeli female subscribers who checked “married” in their marriage status.
