Sonal Jain, Head of Communication & Partnership, Go Dharmic India, shares, ‘The pandemic had exacerbated the digital divide in education for learners in rural India, and the disparity in education had ballooned. We believe technology is the keystone to improving quality, access, and affordability in rural India. With Go Dharmic’s Digitising Education initiative under our Shape a Future Campaign, we are trying to address the digital divide in education by tackling rural digital accessibility. We are so grateful for the incredible support by Byju’s in helping us empower thousands of rural students’ lives by creating an optimal environment for learning.’

‘With schools being closed due to covid for a long time, our focus on the digital delivery of education has been a priority. This partnership with Byjus can be a tremendous force for good, bringing educational upliftment to many underprivileged children.’ - Hanuman Dass, Founder, Go Dharmic

Speaking about the partnership, Mansi Kasliwal, VP-Social Initiatives, BYJU’S, said, “At BYJU’S, we believe that every child has the right to receive a quality education. We have consistently worked towards bridging the educational and digital divide in the country by making quality learning accessible to children from some of the most remote and underserved areas. We are pleased to partner with Go Dharmic on an aligned vision to leverage the power of technology and bring about positive systemic changes in how children learn. With this collaboration, we hope to reach as many children as possible and make digital learning a reality for them.”

They have also provided critical relief during the pandemic with its Emergency Covid Appeal, delivering food, medicine, and oxygen to those unable to access them across 105 cities across India. Go Dharmic has developed more than 100 libraries across the country, and this has benefitted more than 75000 children. The founding philosophy is to ‘love all’, ‘feed all’, and ‘serve all’.

The organization was started in 2011 by Hanuman Dass, who created a platform to promote universal compassionate action and galvanize volunteers to give up their time to ‘make a difference.
