March 13, 2023 (Salt Lake City) – Nightingale College, LLC announced today it will adopt Nightingale Education Group as its DBA and trademark. The organization has developed two new operating divisions which, along with Nightingale College, comprise Nightingale Education Group.
Mikhail Shneyder, who has led the organization as the CEO and served as college president since 2012, will continue his duties as the chief executive officer of Nightingale Education Group. Dr. Jeffrey Olsen, previously vice president and provost, has been appointed president of Nightingale College.
“As an organization, we continue to be mission-driven as we strive to reimagine nursing education, and, indeed, the entire nursing ecosystem in the United States,” noted Shneyder. “The two new divisions will support both our learners within the College and provide products and services to the greater health care community.”
Nightingale Education Group’s overarching mission is to contribute to closing health equity gaps by elevating education and employment systems to create a relevantly skilled, readily available nursing workforce, representative of the communities they serve.
The mission of the newly created Nightingale Innovations is to create learning resources to advance professional competencies along the continuum of healthcare workforce development, including curricula, learning resources and technology, and continuing education development (including certifications and stackable and micro-credentials).
The second new division, Nightingale Solutions, will focus on creating access to relevantly skilled and readily available nurses, as well as providing workforce development services to healthcare employers.
