GREENEVILLE, TN / AGILITYPR.NEWS / March 22, 2021 / Open House Scheduled for March 27th
A new, 12,000+ square foot, training facility has opened in Greeneville Tennessee for the training of young gymnasts. Greeneville Gymnastics Academy will hold an open house for potential new students and their families from 10 a.m. until Noon on March 27th.
“Gymnastics is an extraordinary sport that teaches young people athletic skills and so much more,” says Robbie Braegdon, owner and lead instructor at Greeneville Gymnastics. “It is both an individual and team sport that teaches young people important skills such as time management and discipline.”
Greeneville Gymnastics Academy opened in 2008 and was the first comprehensive training center in the region. Instruction in bars, beams, floor exercise and vaulting are provided for students ranging in age from two to 18. “We have the room and the staff of coaches to teach multiple activities at the same time if needed,” says Braegdon. “Parents are separated from students during instruction by a two-way mirror that allows them to view the instruction without the students being able to see them to reduce stress and increase their focus on their instruction. “
Greeneville Gymnastics Academy also organizes teams that compete in regional events with the 2–10-year-old girls’ team recently placing third in the Tennessee state event. Several students of the academy have earned college scholarships to compete at the collegiate level.
The company also offers instruction in cheerleading and cheer stunt.
“We’re proud of the role that we play in helping our students learn skills important for life and we invite interested students and their parents to see in person what we are doing here during the grand opening,” says Braegdon.
The Greeneville Gymnastics Academy’s new facility is located at 1612 Industrial Boulevard.
