Ottena Reveals Top 10 Most Popular Garden Furniture Products of the Summer

But what purchases are essential to make the most of the nation’s gardens? New research by teak furniture specialists Ottena has shed light on the buying habits of homeowners up and down the country. It has revealed the top 10 most in-demand garden furniture products for the year to date.

Based on a detailed 12-month analysis of sales data, the results show a clear demand for high-quality, sustainable garden furniture, with a particular emphasis on classic and timeless designs.

According to Ottena's findings, the humble parasol now tops the garden lover’s list as the ultimate summer essential, with four out of its top 10 best-sellers now a parasol. It’s number one best-seller for the year is the Octagonal Cream 3.5m Wooden Garden Parasol.

“These parasols not only provide much needed shade, but also add a touch of sophistication to any garden setting,” commented Ottena Director, Arron Wallace. “With so many styles and sizes to choose from, they’re a great addition to any garden and don’t require all that much space.
