RESET 2021 Officially Launched by Petronas

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / April 05, 2021 / “Reimagining Malaysia Assets” RESET 2021 hosted by PETRONAS, organised by Society of Petroleum Engineers Kuala Lumpur Section in collaboration with Malaysia Oil & Gas Services Council, and Informa Markets Malaysia opens its virtual door from 5-8 April, 9am-6pm (UTC+8) to delegates and visitors.


RESET 2021 Opening was officiated by Mr. Bacho Pilong Vice President, Malaysia Asset & CEO, PETRONAS Carigali Sdn.Bhd, followed by a Keynote Address from none other than Mr. Adif Zulkifli, Executive Vice President & CEO, Upstream, PETRONAS in the Opening Ceremony at 9.00am on 5 April.

 

Themed “Embracing Resilience Through Innovation”, this inaugural event features global leaders from PETRONAS, PTT EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION (PTTEP), PERTAMINA INTERNASIONAL EP, SERBA DINAMIK, EXXONMOBIL, SCHLUMBERGER, MALAYSIA DIGITAL ECONOMY CORPORATION (MDEC) and many more to provide insights into the major trends that will drive change and transformation within the oil and gas industry with the aim of to embark future challenges with innovation.

 

“Throughout its history, the global oil and gas industry has gone through several boom-and-bust cycles. The pandemic’s impact and volatile oil market have been by far the most challenging. This has in fact proven to be the catalyst to the world shifting gears to decarbonising mode. With over 30 sessions of high-quality panel discussions delivered by professional speakers, RESET 2021 attracts over 2,000 delegates and visitors registered to the virtual event with very strong numbers from the upstream business.

 

‘RESET Talk Series’ is also featured to focus on unique individual topics allowing perception from the industry. Kicking off with ‘Technology and Innovation – Digitalisation’ that is then broken down into concurrent sessions on Predictive Maintenance & Process Optimization, Cloud Computing & Big Data (Digital Oilfield) and finally, Prototype Technologies. This format is reflected throughout the event for all RESET Talk sessions.
