Higham served for 10 years in the Royal Marines Commandos, completing multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, and training as a paramedic. He founded SSI in 2012 and successfully grew it into a multimillion-pound security and medical services business before it was acquired by RMI. Since joining RMI, Higham has been instrumental in securing a major contract with the UK Department of Health to provide mobile COVID-19 testing capabilities.

Nate McLemore, representing the Board of Directors, RMI said: “Duncan has the entrepreneurial spirit, market experience and acumen to help lead RMI in its future growth as the need for bespoke solutions that save lives and improve the health and safety of workers in challenging environments increases.”
