Rochdale Literature & Ideas Festival

A new chapter in the history of Rochdale Literature & Ideas Festival will be written in October.   This year’s festival runs from 14 to 21 October with over 30 shows and events.

Guests include television presenter and national treasure John Craven, feel-good fiction writer Milly Johnson, Gogglebox star and broadcaster Reverend Kate Bottley, children’s author and television presenter Konnie Huq, author and activist Erin Ekins, international bestselling crime author, poet Sophie Hannah, award winning illustrator Olivia Lomenech Gill and many more.  

Events cover drama, comedy, poetry, spoken word, visual arts and children’s shows. For young people aged 14 to 25, there’s a programme of events covering arts, culture and politics.
