SAN BERNARDINO, CA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / September 10, 2025 / San Bernardino’s favorite family Thanksgiving tradition is getting a makeover, with a new course and a new date. The annual San Bernardino Turkey Trot is excited to announce its new scenic campus route at Cal State San Bernardino (CSUSB), taking place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 22.

“The event invites the community to ‘wobble before you gobble’ and continue the annual tradition with friends and family,” said cofounder and former San Bernardino city councilman Damon Alexander.

A portion of the net proceeds will support: the Alexander Foundation and the American Legion of Southern California,” said San Bernardino City Unified School District Board Member Felicia Alexander.

Event Details and Offerings

The family-friendly event features multiple race options for all ages and fitness levels:

• Race Courses: A 5K, 10K, and a Kids 1K race will take place on the CSUSB campus.
• Chip Timing: Professional chip timing will be provided for all 5K and 10K run/walks.
• Finisher Medals: All 5K and 10K participants will receive a custom-designed diecast finisher medal.
• Awards: Age group awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 18 age categories for the 5K and 10K.
• Participant Shirts: Guaranteed shirts are available for runners who register by November 10th. After this date, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Team of 10 or more: Awards will be given to the biggest team and the fastest team. Groups of eight or more can receive a discount by contacting sbturkeytrot@gmail.com.
• Finish-Line Festival: The event will conclude with a finish-line festival featuring a costume contest, music, food, and fun for all.

• Date and Time: Friday, November 21st, from 1–4 PM
• Location: On The Spot, 2999 Kendall Dr, San Bernardino, CA 92407
• Race Day Option: Bibs and shirts can also be picked up on race day morning starting at 6:00 AM at the event venue.
• Race Day Schedule:
• 6:00 AM: Late registration and packet pick-up begins
• 7:00 AM: 10K start
• 7:15 AM: 5K start
• 8:00 AM: 5K and 10K age group winners announced (based on chip time)
• 8:30 AM: Kids 1K run
