As an accomplished public speaker and actor, (Sid has presented his own BBC radio show, has many Radio 4 plays, voice-over credits, as well as writes and performs poetry for children and adults) he has an enthralling and engaging delivery style which captures and holds the audiences imagination.
Sid has set up ‘Healthy Little Steps’ to help curb childhood obesity and other health issues, such as stress and anxiety in children. Although Sid lives a life now of health and wellbeing he never used to, and he offers his own unique way of encouraging and teaching others the skills he gained to turn things around. Sid carries a good clean message of help and hope to inspire and motivate others. He shares his knowledge and life skills, delivering a positive and health driven reality for children to carry into adulthood.
Sid Sloane said: “For nearly 20 years I have been associated with the education of children through television. Now I am reaching out in person to the health and education sector to help children from every walk of life understand that if you look after your health you learn to respect yourself, and that leads to a positive mental shift in a child’s perception of themselves, helping them to harness their true potential.”
