PITTSBURGH / AGILITYPR.NEWS / July 07, 2025 / David J. Sullivan has joined the Pittsburgh office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as Of Counsel in the Business department. Sullivan is the third attorney to join the office in the last month, and the sixth since the start of the year.

“The wealth of experience that David brings in commercial transactions is an asset to our growing corporate practice in Pittsburgh and across the firm,” said Steptoe & Johnson CEO Christopher L. Slaughter. “He is widely recognized for his leadership and deep knowledge in legal and regulatory matters in the life sciences industry.” 

Sullivan has more than 30 years of experience as in-house counsel, including three years as General Counsel at one of the country’s largest and most successful dietary supplement retailers. In addition to his work in the life sciences industry, Sullivan has a thorough understanding of all facets of business transactions, including the negotiation and management of strategic partnerships and contracts involving manufacturing, distribution, and licensing.

Sullivan earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Yale University. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
