Stevie Johnson and Eager 2 Run Present “Why So Serious” Run/Walk Fest in Buffalo: A Day of Fitness, Fun, and Bills Mafia Pride
BUFFALO, N.Y. / AGILITYPR.NEWS / October 10, 2024 / Get ready to lace up your sneakers and show your Buffalo Bills spirit! Eager 2 Run (E2R), in partnership with former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson, will host the “Why So Serious” Run/Walk Fest on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Sweet Home High School.
This event will feature a run/walk, family-friendly activities, and a post-race celebration with Buffalo’s favorite sports legends. Fellow Buffalo Bills alum Eric Wood will join Stevie Johnson for a special book signing and meet-and-greet at Resurgence Brewing Company after the race.
Event Highlights:
- Free registration for participants 18 and under, as well as active military, veterans, reserves, and first responders.
- Proceeds will benefit Sweet Home Central School’s Cross Country Team and Handle Biz Have Fun INC, Stevie Johnson’s nonprofit organization supporting underserved youth.
- Friday, October 18: Packet pickup and social at Resurgence Brewing Company from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 19: Post-event celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Resurgence Brewing Company, with a book signing by Stevie Johnson and Eric Wood.
The Bills Mafia community, originally formed in support of Stevie Johnson during a challenging period in his career, is especially encouraged to attend and show their support. This is a great opportunity for Buffalo sports fans to unite, get active, and give back to local youth.
Stevie Johnson, who helped inspire the creation of Bills Mafia, expressed his excitement:
