Tamworth Courier Company Marks 30th Anniversary
UNITED KINGDOM / AGILITYPR.NEWS / November 04, 2020 / Crown Couriers, a Tamworth-based commercial courier that operates nationwide is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Founded by Tim Seagers in 1990 with just two vans, Crown Couriers has grown to a fleet of over 800 vans and self-employed drivers with over 60 full time staff in their head office. But one thing that hasn’t changed is Managing Director, Tim Seagers, who started the business three decades ago and remains as CEO of the company.

Tim Seagers, Managing Director of Crown Couriers explains, “Our core focus at the height of the pandemic was to fulfil time-critical deliveries, and provide support where it was needed most. Fortunately, we were able to continue to grow our fleet to enable us to carry out urgent same-day deliveries as and where required.”
Tim’s mission that remains to this very day is for the company be a trusted partner for businesses. Testament to that are the great customer relationships the business has built over the last 30 years thanks to its employees.
Despite the pandemic this year, Crown Couriers has seen their fleet support go from strength to strength during its 30th year, with a peak over the last six months. Supporting businesses across a range of sectors, Crown Couriers attributes this significant demand largely from healthcare and retail.
