A leading provider of software solutions for the care industry is holding a toy drive to help every child in its local community experience the magic of Christmas.

The home care management app developer, Unique IQ, is urging local residents to sort out their toy storage and donate any new or pre-loved toys at marked drop-off locations as part of The Big Give. Toys will then be distributed between two charity partners: The Salvation Army and Redditch-based Friends of Isaac’s Food Bank CIC.

Pre-loved toys will be distributed to The Salvation Army’s Redditch branch and sold to raise vital funds to help the unhoused, low-income and vulnerable populations. New and packaged toys will be shared between both charities. 

Toy donors are being asked to donate their spare toys by 13th of December so that shoppers have enough time to buy the toys from The Salvation Army’s shop. 

David Lynes, Founder and CEO of Unique IQ, said:

This initiative highlights both the power of community spirit and business collaboration, as the contributions of pre-loved and new toys will directly support vulnerable populations through The Salvation Army and Friends of Isaac’s Food Bank.

Unique IQ has already united a team of local businesses that have vowed to help disadvantaged families this Christmas.
