Most people who have come to know Jayce are always fascinated by his smartness. One of his nursery head teachers even described him as having a prolific memory. At the same time, another said, “ I can honestly say I have never met a child at three years of age this gifted in reading, writing and spelling in all my years of working with young children”. He has an inquisitive mind and would question nearly everything; he can think from first principles, thinks holistically, and has a great sense of humour. By age three, Jayce would read and write an entire script based on whatever he had seen or heard. He has a talent for recollection and would write and illustrate events or stories with a twist of adventure and fun.

Jayce's illustrated books are self-published through Birmingham-based The Book Chief Publishing House and available on Amazon. Jayce uses himself as the main character in his stories to deliver his message. His stories have morals, such as encouraging children to eat healthily or knowing that sometimes things may not always go how we want, but we can still be happy with what we have.

About his book, Jayce said, "I love writing because writing is fun; I like people to read what I write and to use their imagination and write their own stories too".

Jayce's Mum, Anim, is incredibly proud of him. About Jayce becoming an author, she said, "I grew up reading books written by older authors. I never thought a child could publish a book at a very young age, not even in my wildest imagination. Jayce means the world to me from the very day he was born. I am so incredibly proud of the way he has grown and what he has achieved at a very young age when children are still learning to read, let alone write their own stories. Publishing them is a dream. I truly hope he believes in himself as much as I believe in him. I am immensely proud to be his mum!"
