U.S. Congressional Candidate for TN District 1, Steve Darden, Participates in Regional Blood Drive
USA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / April 28, 2020 / 1st Congressional District — Answering the call for blood donations, Steve Darden, candidate for the Republican nomination for the United States Congress in Tennessee’s First District participated in the blood drive on Monday, April 27, at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol.
“I’ve been fortunate that neither I nor any of my loved ones have suffered from COVID-19. When I saw that the Speedway and Marsh Blood Center were teaming up to give folks in our area the opportunity to donate blood, I thought it was the least I could do to help out. So, my son Gus and I both went out and supported the cause.”
“During this time, healthcare workers have shown that their profession is not just a job, it’s a calling. I salute them and everyone who has made sure that our lights continued coming on, our water kept running, and the shelves in our stores remained stocked. And a thanks to our police officers, fire fighters and other first responders, our safety has been protected.
