UK's top student cyber challenge extends registration
| Good afternoon, CyberCenturion is the leading cyber-security competition for schools open to all secondary school pupils and youth organisations between the ages of 12-18. The free to enter challenge helps students discover their cyber skills as well as to develop a range of computer, reasoning and teamwork skills. For teachers, CyberCenturion is an easy to run competition with no previous cyber or computer skills necessary. Cyber Security Challenge UK will once again be partnering with Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Air Force Association. Now in its sixth year, CyberCenturion was set up to widen the current reach of cyber security and secure the future of the cyber frontier. Sister to long-established US competition CyberPatriot, CyberCenturion aims to inspire young people to pursue STEM subjects in further education, support a critical need for greater diversity in the cyber security industry and reduce the current skills shortage. Teachers can benefit from a readymade extra-curricular activity with no previous cyber experience necessary and all materials easily accessed and ready to download from the brand new CCVl hub.
