LOUISIANA, US / AGILITYPR.NEWS / December 11, 2019 / Wood has appointed Bryan Knost as Vice president of Operations for its Downstream & Chemicals business in the Americas.
The appointment will support strategic and regional growth, with Knost’s primary focus on expanding Wood’s downstream and chemicals presence in the state of Louisiana. Knost will leverage the business’s extensive capital project expertise and capabilities, including FEED, detailed design, engineering, construction, procurement, operations and maintenance, commissioning, project management and fabrication. Knost will also be responsible for growing Wood’s Baton Rouge office in Louisiana.

Knost joins Wood from Jacobs Field Services, where he spent 21 years working in various disciplines, including field supervision, human resources, project controls and quality, progressing to General Manager of its southeast region in the U.S. Knost has 30 years of experience in industrial construction, maintenance and super fund environmental projects, working across southern states, including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and South Carolina.
Wood’s downstream and chemicals business provides support to all phases in downstream projects, helping customers to design, build and run a wide range of asset types and sizes in midstream, refining, petrochemical and chemicals.
