Yann Pierre joins Waga Energy as Group Sales Director

PHILADELPHIA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / September 03, 2024 / Waga Energy, an expert in producing Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) from landfills, announces the appointment of Yann Pierre as Group Sales Director. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer Mathieu Lefebvre, Yann Pierre will head up all sales activities (business development, RNG sales, contract management, marketing, etc.) and is tasked with accelerating the Group’s growth across international markets.

Yann Pierre draws on his proven international expertise in RNG and waste-to-energy. As one of France’s forerunners in the industry, Yann Pierre has spent the past 20 years developing more than 300 RNG production projects, both in Europe and North America.

Yann Pierre said: “I am thrilled to join Waga Energy, an innovative company that has become a global-leading RNG producer in less than a decade, and whose values of daring, commitment, cooperation and expertise I fully share. As Group Sales Director, my goal is to continue building our sales force in order to accelerate deployment of the WAGABOX® solution in the countries where the Group operates (France, Spain, Italy, the United States and Canada), and in new target markets.”
