IRVINE, CA / AGILITYPR.NEWS / September 03, 2020 / briteCITY, an Orange County, CA-based managed IT services provider, is pleased to announce the acquisition of NIXSYS IT Services, also located in Irvine, CA. This is the fifth acquisition of a related IT service provider for briteCITY, which continues their exponential growth trajectory through sales and acquisitions.

Chad Gniffke, CEO of briteCITY, had been introduced to Nicolas Szczedrin, President of NIXSYS through a mutual friend at the beginning of the year, but negotiations were put on hold during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After it became safer to go outside, the deal was made quickly.

NIXSYS currently has two main business functions and will only be handing over operations of its IT Services business to briteCITY. Szczedrin will retain control and operations of its custom-built industrial and legacy computers and servers.

The acquisition will boost briteCITY’s already well-rounded technical expertise as the IT services team joins briteCITY. NIXSYS has over 40 clients that will now be serviced by the briteCITY team and its newly acquired employees.

Newly acquired clients can and should expect the same level of support from briteCITY that they have been receiving from NIXSYS during and after the transition period, and many will still be able to work with technicians they are already familiar with.
